The most important objective of this site was to feature the great images and 30–plus year story behind this company and its founders, John Nottingham and John Spirk. That “barely there” look provides an appropriate architecture to tell the story and impress huge client names.

The feature on the home page where the main image expands to and contracts with the browser window without degradation is not a Flash based feature but a technique invented as a result of our extensive experience working with website images and the exploitation of some CSS based tricks. Unless someone has copied the technique, not sure this is being used anywhere else.
